Celebrating 25 Years of Outdoor Odyssey
This year marks 25 years of Outdoor Odyssey! Founded in 1998 by Major General TS Jones, USMC (ret), we have had the opportunity to impact many lives in our community, around the country, and around the world through programs like our Leadership Academy and mentoring program, Semper Fi Odyssey, Semper Fi Odyssey Military Youth Camp, and African Odyssey.
We’re recognizing this milestone with a 25th anniversary celebration on July 8, 2023, including a 3 mile Mountain Challenge and favorite camp activities like zip lining and games.
25th Anniversary Mountain Challenge
Our 25th Anniversary Mountain Challenge is a self-paced, 3 mile course with fun obstacles and challenges along the route. Whether you would like to participate for fun or try for your best time course completion time, you are welcome to register. The event begins at 9:30AM on Saturday morning.
This is a FREE event, but donations are welcome! If you are interested in donating to help us continue our mission, you can donate online here. Camp activities
Following the Mountain Challenge, our celebration continues with a variety of favorite camp activities, including zip lining, games, and more from 10:30AM-1:00PM. A light picnic will be served at lunchtime. These fun activities will be led by current and former staff members at various camp facilities.
