The Integritas Project

Restore Integrity of Self and Team

in·teg·ri·ty- the quality or state of being complete or undivided

The pandemic continues to isolate people, divide teams, and cultivate ever-increasing levels of stress for people of all ages.  With uncertainty as the norm, organizations need to adapt to the changes, reconnect teams and capture a sense of normalcy in a SAFE, inspiring and restorative environment.

Outdoor Odyssey’s Integritas Project, engineered by Major General T.S. Jones, USMC (ret), through his lengthy career in the Marine Corps and extensive post-military experiences in working with children in need and wounded, ill and injured warriors, provides companies and organizations a retreat like no other!

The curriculum, crafted in concert with a corps of experts, incorporates evidence-based strategies that bond teams and inspire productive goal setting, while providing life-changing takeaways in stress management and the creation of resiliency for attendees and their family members.

What we do:

  • Provide a safe and wide-open environment that mitigate the restrictive measures of mask wearing and social distancing; in fact, physical distancing in the mountain setting encourages safe social integration.

  • Lead initiatives, team-building challenges and high-adventure activities that inspire interpersonal communications, cultivate emotional intelligence and bond teams.

  • Teach user-friendly, evidence-based strategies of stress management that supply tools for immediate and lasting use for all participants and family members.

Why it’s Important:

  • Teams need to be provided a safe, yet socially integrated environment.

  • Isolation destroys team cohesion and social resiliency, spiking negative coping mechanisms which lead to stress-related injuries/illnesses.

  • Loss of team cohesion erodes productivity and unity of effort.

  • Mental health already disables more Americans than any other illness.

  • Team development fosters social resilience and cohesion, leading to individual resilience and co-regulation for stress reduction.

  • Tools and protocols of stress management work only when embraced.

how it works:

  • Life begins at the end of your comfort zone!  People reach out to and learn about others when undertaking challenges collectively in a new environment, creating lasting bonds that strengthen cohesion and productivity in the workplace.

  • Learning how and why the body reacts to stressors provides workable strategies to immediately better handle stressors and improve individual resiliency.

  • Outdoor Odyssey possesses unique approaches to stress management, born from 12-year experience of working with wounded, ill and injured warriors.

  • Activities undertaken collectively in nature-based environments have scientifically proven to bond teams while improving significant biomarkers associated with stress levels (blood pressure, heart rate, HRV, etc.).
