Module One: Foundational of Mental Fitness and Resiliency

This section begins with two foundational sessions led by General T.S. Jones that establish the core mindset and tools used throughout the course. In these sessions, he introduces mental fitness as a daily, intentional practice built through small choices, self-awareness, and practical regulation tools such as MEPS check-ins. He then expands the conversation to purpose and direction, guiding learners to define a personal mission, identify obstacles, and recognize the support systems that make long-term growth possible. Together, these sessions provide the big-picture framework for the course, helping learners understand how resilience is built through mindset, clarity of purpose, and accountability to others.

Start Session 1

Resilence Begins with choice and purpose

This section features two connected sessions led by General T.S. Jones that focus on how mindset and mission work together to shape your future. In the first session, he explains how mindset influences your thoughts, reactions, and long-term outcomes, especially under stress, and why small shifts in thinking can lead to meaningful change. In the second session, he builds on that foundation by guiding learners to define a clear personal mission that sets direction, identifies obstacles, and clarifies who can provide support and accountability. Together, these sessions show that mindset determines who you become, while mission determines the path you take.

Start Session 2

Grounding and Fire Team Sessions

This section focuses on grounding skills and the power of fire teams as essential tools for managing stress and staying connected under pressure. In these sessions, learners are introduced to simple grounding techniques that help regulate the nervous system and bring the mind back to the present moment when stress escalates. The sessions also explore the role of fire teams — trusted people who provide accountability, support, and honest feedback — in maintaining mental fitness over time. Together, these videos emphasize that regulation comes first, and that resilience is strengthened when grounding skills are practiced consistently and shared within a supportive team.

Start Session 3

Responsibility and Service as Leadership

This section brings together sessions focused on personal responsibility and service as a form of leadership. Learners are guided to shift attention away from what cannot be controlled and toward the actions, choices, and attitudes that are within their influence. The sessions emphasize that meaningful change begins with small, realistic commitments and grows through accountability and follow-through. By connecting personal ownership with service to others, these sessions highlight how resilience, purpose, and leadership are strengthened through responsibility, contribution, and a commitment to something larger than oneself.
