Outdoor Odyssey is a multi-faceted
nonprofit corporation founded in 1998. Our primary mission is to serve area youth with a mentor and
provide these teams with a unique wilderness experience at our 500-acre Laurel Highland camp. We
incorporate leadership skills, high adventure, and teambuilding into a week-long curriculum that
sets the stage for a year of follow on activity between our mentors and their teams.

Corporate leadership training is also available at Outdoor Odyssey. Our Corporate leadership
curriculum will help develop any staff into a dynamic team. Outdoor Odyssey's Mountain Valley Lodge
conference center offers corporate and private groups a beautiful and comfortable setting in which
to hold an off site or conference. High adventure and teambuilding activities are also available to
groups staying at the Mountain Valley Lodge. These activities are sure to turn any conference into
the experience of a lifetime! All of Outdoor Odyssey's services are available to student groups as
well. Our trained staff is capable of working with groups ranging from elementary to college age
students.

community as well. All profits of the Mountain Valley Lodge support the mission of providing youth
with a mentor in the Outdoor Odyssey program.
