Outdoor Odyssey's Mountain Valley Lodge offers the comfort and amenities of home in a unique
wilderness setting. Nestled in the Laurel Mountain Valley, just 2 miles from the Outdoor
Odyssey camp, Mountain Valley Lodge provides a unique setting to groups that wish to get away
from their everyday environment. Built in 1950 from stone collected by hand from the 80-acre
property, Mountain Valley Lodge is truly breathtaking. Ben's Creek, a local fly fishing
favorite, runs right through the property making a night spent even more relaxing with the
calming sound of its currents.
Mountain Valley Lodge offers seven bedrooms. All rooms can accommodate more than one person.
The lodge's capacity is 18. The main attraction to the lodge is the spectacular great room.
Adorned with lodge furnishings the room is beyond comfortable. The gas-powered fireplace will
allow your group to sit in comfort all day and night without a worry. The main conference and
dining table can easily seat 18 individuals. We offer high speed Internet accesses in our
conference room. The full kitchen is available to guests for use when not in use by the
catering staff. Our game room offers foosball, exercise machines, and cable
television. After a day of teambuilding spent at the outdoor odyssey camp your group might want
to take advantage of the patio overlooking the stream to relax. A bar area is located off of
the great room and makes entertaining more convenient.
Larger groups can take advantage of both the Mountain Valley and Adirondack Lodges. The
Adirondack lodge is located just 200 yards from the Main Lodge and offers an additional six
bedrooms, kitchen, and great room. Total capacity for the Adirondack lodge is 10.
From corporate teams to wedding receptions, Mountain Valley Lodge and its beautiful surroundings
will offer you a great experience.
